The probe is buried in a small vertical hole instead of a saw-cut loop, so it suits gravel, dirt, pavers, cobblestone and poor pavement. It runs on 8 to 35 VDC, a range Diablo gives for low voltage solar installs, and has a 10-pin Molex connector. Three solid-state FET outputs (A, B and B inverted) are rated 250 mA at 30 V.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOutput B can be presence, entry pulse, exit pulse or fail. A 10-position rotary switch sets sensitivity (factory 5), with four loop frequencies, sensitivity boost, and a fail-safe or fail-secure DIP switch. In Free Exit Probe mode the detector always gives an entry pulse. Loop inductance range is 20 to 1500 µH.
