Description
The Carefree 1050X is a fully sealed standalone access keypad with tactile polymer push buttons in a powder-coated cast aluminum housing. It stores a single code or up to 1,000 personal codes and has two programmable Form C relays: relay 1 rated 5 A and relay 2 rated 1 A at 28 VDC. Automatic voltage sensing runs it on 10 to 30 V AC or DC, drawing 100 mA active and 10 mA standby at 12 VDC.
Codes are kept through a power failure. A built-in timer serves a remote exit switch or fire access key switch for codeless entry, and toggle mode latches the relay to hold a gate or door open. A night light brightens when a code is entered, with an LED display and audio tone. Lightning and surge protection is built in.
