Description
The LiftMaster KPR2000 is a wired keypad and proximity card reader for one door or gate. It stores up to 2,000 users with card, 4 to 6 digit PIN, or card plus PIN access. It reads HID 26-bit and 30-bit proximity cards and gives 26-bit and 30-bit Wiegand output (ASCII for PIN).
It runs stand-alone or in pass-through mode to an access control system. One programmable relay with adjustable contact time drives a gate operator, commercial door operator, door strike or solenoid lock. Latch mode holds the door or gate open. Rapid programming and block enrollment use Add and Delete program cards. Blue backlit metal keys sit in a sealed, weatherproof, vandal-resistant metal enclosure with an anti-tamper alarm, built-in buzzer and alarm output. Operating temperature is -4°F to 140°F.
Before You Order
- The KPR2000 is a wired unit. It needs a power supply and wiring to the operator, lock or access control panel. Check the installation manual for power input.
- Two KPR2000 units can be networked, or a PPWR Passport receiver can connect to the KPR2000. It also connects to most access control systems.
- Proximity cards and fobs are sold separately.

Our return policy lasts for only 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. Some items such as Gate Operators or custom parts may not be returnable or carry a restocking fee if returned.
