Description
Discontinued by Linear. Linear does not name a direct replacement. The AKR-1 is a self-contained exterior digital keypad with a built-in 318 MHz MegaCode radio receiver for gate and door access control. It stores up to 480 entry codes of 1 to 6 digits and up to 480 block-coded MegaCode transmitters.
Two Form C relays and two solid-state outputs give four independent outputs with timers. It can supervise one Linear MGT safety edge transmitter, which triggers relay 2. The keypad has die-cast keys in a cast aluminum housing and runs on 12 to 24 VAC or VDC.

- This model is no longer made. For a stand-alone hardwired keypad without a receiver, see the AK-11. For a wireless keypad that sends to a separate receiver, see the MDKP.
- Accepts block-coded MegaCode transmitters only, in four facility-code blocks. Individual (non-block-coded) transmitters are not supported.
- Power: 12 to 24 VAC or VDC, 150 mA maximum. Mounts on a pedestal or wall.
