Description
The Diablo Controls DML-9LP is a low power free exit detector for the Diablo Free Exit Probe (mini-loop). It runs on 10 to 30 VDC or 10 to 28 VAC and draws about 1 mA when not in detect. It has one relay output (NO and NC contacts, 1 A max), a removable 7-pin terminal block, and measures 1.52 x 2.9 x 1.56 in.
The output is a single 125 ms pulse on detect; there is no presence mode. It is fail-secure, so a failed probe circuit never opens the gate. The green LED blinks once a second in normal operation, slowly for an open input and fast for a shorted input. The red LED lights for 125 ms on each detect. It operates from -35°F to 165°F.
Before You Order
- Free exit only. Never use it on a safety or obstruction loop.
- Free Exit Probe sold separately, or order the DML-9LP mini-loop kit with the probe and lead-in included.
- Terminal block: relay NC, common and NO on pins 1 to 3, power on pins 4 and 5, mini-loop on pins 6 and 7.
