Description

The Diablo Controls DSP-22-1 is a single channel plug-in loop detector for DoorKing gate operators. It plugs into the loop detector port on the DoorKing control board and is a direct replacement for the DoorKing 9410 single channel detector. It runs on 14 to 27 VDC and draws about 0.69 mA with no vehicle.

The solid-state output is rated 250 mA at 30 V and runs presence or pulse (250 ms on, 250 ms off). Four sensitivity settings plus sensitivity boost are set on DIP switches. Loop monitoring shows a fault display, and fault memory shows a past fault after the loop recovers. The channel also accepts the Diablo Free Exit Probe in pulse mode, with a flicker display during detection. Always fail-safe. Loop inductance range is 20 to 1500 µH. It operates from -35°F to 165°F.

Before You Order

  • For DoorKing operators with on-board detector ports. Replaces the DoorKing 9410.
  • The DSP-22-2 is the two channel version (replaces DoorKing 9409 and 9405).
  • The Free Exit Probe works in pulse mode only and must never be used as a safety or obstruction sensor.

Pulse Output: 250ms ±15ms on period followed by a 250ms off period
before the next pulse can begin

Green Power LED: The green power LED will be on whenever the detector is operating in the full power mode. Full power mode occurs whenever a possible vehicle has been detected, any channel is in detect, or any loop has failed. When the detector is operating normally without a loop failure and no vehicle detected, the LED will blink on once every two seconds to indicate that it is operating in the low power mode.

Red Detect LED: The red LED will indicate the status of the detector. Occupancy, Pulse outputs, Loop Failures, and Past Failures are all displayed on this LED.

Indicator Test: All three LEDs will turn on and then off momentarily as a lamp test each time the unit is reset.
