Description
The Diablo Controls DSP-6LP is a single channel loop detector with one relay output (NO and NC contacts, 1 A max) and a removable 7-pin terminal block. It runs on 10 to 30 VDC or 10 to 28 VAC and draws about 1 mA with no vehicle on the loop. It is 1.52 x 2.9 x 1.56 in.
There are no switches to set. The detector adjusts itself for loop and lead-in size and does not cross-talk with other Diablo detectors of this type. The green LED blinks once a second in normal operation, slowly for an open loop and fast for a shorted loop; the red LED shows detect. Fail-secure: the output never goes to detect if the loop fails, which keeps the gate closed. Use it on free exit loops only, never on a safety loop. It operates from -35°F to 165°F.

- Low power, fail-secure. The DSP-7LP is the fail-safe low power version.
- Terminal block wiring: relay NC, common and NO on pins 1 to 3, power on pins 4 and 5, loop on pins 6 and 7.
