Description
The Rosslare AY-K12C is a micro-mullion 125 kHz proximity reader for indoor or outdoor use. It reads 26-bit EM cards and outputs Wiegand 26-bit, Clock and Data or RS-232, selectable. Read range is 3.2 to 3.9 in. Power is 5-16 VDC, with 60 mA standby and 120 mA max at 12 V.
The housing is IP65, 3.2 x 1.6 x 0.5 in and 2.5 oz. A tri-color LED and internal sounder can be driven by external control lines. It connects with an 18 in pigtail and mounts with hidden screws, with a mounting template included. Operating range is -25°F to 145°F.
