Description
TransCore 10-4004-002 is an Encompass 4 UHF RFID reader that reads SeGo and ATA protocol tags. It operates in the 902 to 928 MHz band (911.75 to 919.75 MHz FCC-authorized in the US) with RS-422 and Wiegand-compatible host communications. It uses the internal (integrated) antenna. Power input is 16 to 20 VAC (47 to 63 Hz) or 16 to 28 VDC.
RF output is adjustable from 2 W (33 dBm) down to 200 mW (23 dBm) in 1 dB steps. The reader has two dry contact sense inputs and two Form-C relay outputs. RF can be switched on by a sense input or a host command. The polycarbonate housing is tamper resistant and mounts on a pole or wall, indoors or outdoors. It measures 15.5 x 15.5 x 3.25 in, weighs 9.5 lb and operates from -40°F to 131°F.

- Reads SeGo and ATA protocol tags. TransCore AT5402, AT5406 and AT5412 tags support SeGo, eGo and ATA.

- Transformer and cables are not included.
- Order a connector cable kit: 58-1620-001 (5 ft), 58-1620-002 (20 ft), 58-1620-006 (35 ft) or 58-1620-007 (45 ft).
- Power: 76-1620-005 Class C transformer (120 VAC to 18 VAC), or a 16 to 28 VDC supply.
- Optional 54-1620-001 wall mount bracket, adjustable in all planes, for flat surfaces.
- US operation requires an FCC Part 90 site license.
- TransCore does not list a fixed reader range. Range depends on the tag, reader settings and site.
