Troubleshooting
Common questions
The 816-1 is the primary arm with a 12 ft harness. The 816-2 is the secondary arm for dual gates, with a 42 ft harness to reach the control box from the far gate.
It works with the 636, 936 and 1050 boards. On a 1050 board, set the motor type to 12 V, since the MB1050 comes set for 24 V.
Remove the caps from the limit screws on the actuator, then adjust the open and close limits while you cycle the gate from the control board. On dual gates, set the MOTOR 1 actuator first with MOTOR 2 unplugged.
The board stops after two current sensor trips in a row. Clear the obstruction, check the gate hardware, then press the Reset or Hard Shut Down button.
