Description
The DAC 11190-BB kit pairs an HES 9600 surface mounted electric strike (black finish) with a DAC black mounting bracket. It adds electric release to a DAC panic bar gate. The bracket clamps to a round or square latch post with U-bolts, so no welding or fabrication is needed.
The HES 9600 is field selectable for 12 or 24 VDC and for fail safe or fail secure. It accepts a rim exit device latch with up to 3/4 in throw. Current draw is 450 mA at 12 VDC and 250 mA at 24 VDC. HES lists the 9600 to UL 294 and UL 1034 for outdoor use, and to ANSI/BHMA A156.31 Grade 1. The bracket is field reversible, acts as a gate stop and adjusts for a 5/8 to 2 in gap on a standard 3 in post.

Before You Order
- DAC lists the kit for use with all DAC panic bar kits and exit devices.
- U-bolts are offered for 2, 2-1/2, 3 and 4 in round or square latch posts. Confirm your post size.
- Needs a 12 or 24 VDC power supply and an access control device or switch. Neither is included.
- Set fail safe (unlocks on power loss) or fail secure (stays locked on power loss) in the field.
- Other versions: 11190-S (silver bracket), 11190-B (black bracket, stainless strike). Bracket only (strike not included): 11150-S / 11150-B.
