Description
Linear FM140 is a driveway vehicle sensor (exit wand) with 100 ft of direct-burial cable. It senses moving iron-based metal, such as a car, truck, ATV or motorcycle, and closes a dry contact to open the gate.
Detection radius up to 12 ft, depending on vehicle size, speed and distance. Power is 8 to 26 VAC or 11 to 30 VDC at 1.5 mA, low enough for solar gate systems. The relay closes for 2 seconds on detection. The wand is 1-3/4 in diameter by 16-3/4 in long.
Before You Order
- Connects to gate operators or other systems with a dry contact input.
- For free exit only. It is not a safety device and does not replace photo eyes or edges.
- Bury the wand about 12 in deep, within 2 ft of the driveway edge.
- Use only on gate operators that meet UL 325.
