Description
The Seco-Larm E-941DA-600Q is a double-door electromagnetic lock with 600 lb (272 kg) holding force per door. One housing carries two magnets, one for each leaf of a pair of doors. Each magnet runs on 12 or 24 VDC, set by jumper. Current draw is 500 mA per door at 12 VDC (1 A total) or 270 mA per door at 24 VDC (540 mA total). It surface-mounts to the frame header on an adjustable mounting plate. Anodized aluminum housing.
Fail-safe: the lock releases when power is removed, with no residual magnetism. MOV surge protection is built in, and the faceplate detaches for wiring access. UL294 listed for indoor use. Ratings: destructive attack Level I, line security Level I, standby power Level I, endurance Level IV. Operating temperature is 32 to 120°F. Seco-Larm limited lifetime warranty (USA and Canada).

Before You Order
- Needs constant 12 or 24 VDC from a listed Class 2 power supply. Plan for 1 A at 12 VDC or 540 mA at 24 VDC for both doors.
- Set the voltage jumpers on each magnet before power-up. A wrong setting can damage the lock.
- Fail-safe: the doors unlock on power loss. Wire exit buttons and other switching devices on the positive side of the lock.
- Indoor use per the UL294 listing.
- Mounting accessories: E-941D-600/PQ 3/16 in plate spacer, E-941S-600/HQ armature plate holder, E-941S-600/LQ L-bracket, E-941S-600/ZQ Z-bracket and E-941S-600/UQ glass door U-bracket.
- Version with bond sensor and status LED: E-941DA-600PQ (black: E-941DB-600PQ).
