The Linear ES-U36 is a license upgrade that converts an eMerge Essential or Essential Plus system to eMerge Elite-36. No controller replacement is needed.
Elite-36 raises the system limit from 4 doors to 36 doors and 72 readers, with doors past the controller's own added through EXN expansion nodes. Linear rates Elite-36 for up to 20,000 cardholders and 80,000 cards. Further growth to 64 doors uses the EL-U64 upgrade.
