Description
The EDI LMA-1800-LP is a low power, single channel DEFLECTOMETER loop detector for solar and battery powered gate operators. It draws 8 mA max with no vehicle (9 mA max on a call). It has two programmable solid-state outputs and a rear 10-pin Molex connector (09-48-1104), and runs on 10 to 30 VDC or 14 to 26 VAC. The unit is 2.30 x 2.75 x 0.80 in.
The DEFLECTOMETER display shows the detection level so sensitivity can be set to catch all vehicles, including motorcycles. There are 10 sensitivity levels and four loop frequencies. Outputs are open collector, rated 100 mA at 30 VDC. Loop inductance range is 20 to 2500 µH. It operates from -30°F to 165°F.

- EDI notes the LP performs differently from the standard model. Use it where low current draw matters.
- Solid-state outputs only. For relay contacts, use an 11-pin relay detector such as the LMA-1250.
