Description
BadAss Uphill Hinge Set: one 6 in and one 10 in weld-on strap barrel hinge for steel and ornamental iron gates up to 1,500 lb (3,000 lb load rating per gate). Using different strap lengths top and bottom lets the gate open on an uphill grade.
The hinges swing 180° and hold a fixed 1/2 in gap. Straps can be cut to length. Zinc-plated external parts with sealed high-temperature bearings that need no greasing and can stay on through powder coating.

Before You Order
- Sold as a set of two hinges (one 6 in, one 10 in).
- Fits square gate frames to square posts, 1-1/2 in minimum post size.
- Gate gap is fixed at 1/2 in.
- Approximate gate size: 6 ft W x 8 ft H.
- Single strap hinges are CI3900 (6 in) and CI3925 (10 in).
- Not self-closing. Add a separate closer and latch if the gate must close and latch on its own.
