Description
The AES EL00PM-RAD-K is the e-Loop Post Mount wireless vehicle detection kit for presence mode. It pairs the EL00PM-RAD sensor with an ETRANS50 e-Trans 50 transceiver. The sensor mounts beside the lane on a gate post, wall or nearby structure, so the driveway surface is not touched. It uses a 3-axis magnetometer with radar confirmation to detect vehicle presence and movement.
Mounting height is 23.6 in above ground, and detection range is up to 9.8 ft. The radio link is 433.39 MHz with 128-bit AES encryption, with range up to 164 ft. The sensor runs on 2 x 1.5 V AA lithium batteries (included) with up to 3 years of battery life, and is rated IP68. Setup is code to the transceiver, calibrate, and go. The ETRANS50 runs on 10-36 VDC per the AES data sheet and has one relay output (COM and N/O, 1 A) that wires to the open input of the gate operator.

Before You Order
- Post mount sensor, for sites where the driveway surface cannot be cut or drilled.
- Presence mode with radar confirmation. AES says not to use presence mode as a personal safety device.
- Mount the sensor 23.6 in above ground. Vehicles must pass within 9.8 ft of the sensor.
- AES rates the ETRANS50 for indoor use. Mount it inside the operator or in a weatherproof plastic box.
