DoorKing 1800-500

The DoorKing 1800-500 Smart Gate Controller adds phone control to a gate operator over 2.4 GHz WiFi with the DKS Smart Connect app. Open and close the gate, check its status, set schedules and view the history log.

It wires to the operator through a normally open relay output and runs on 8 to 30 VAC or VDC. It supports up to 20 users and works with Alexa, Google Home and Siri.

Identify your model

Gate status comes from the operator's reply relay or a separate gate position switch. The switch is not included and is needed when the operator has no reply relay.

App shows offline

  • Check the WiFi signal at the operator with the cover on. DoorKing recommends -67 dBm or stronger.
  • The controller only uses 2.4 GHz WiFi.

Status is wrong

  • Status comes from the operator reply relay or a gate position switch. Check that one is wired.
