Description
The Reno A&E L-ATG is a single channel anti-tailgating loop detector for parking and access control lanes. It counts passenger vehicles even when they run bumper to bumper and flags when more than one vehicle enters during a single gate cycle. Reno A&E rates count accuracy above 99% with standard 2.5 x 6 ft loops.
Relay A carries the vehicle call with delay and extension timing. Relay B gives count, tailgate and entry pulses. The front panel LCD shows the running count up to 99,999. It has directional logic, loop fail monitoring with fail-safe operation, and a loop fail memory. The detector self-tunes within 2 seconds of power-up or reset. Relays are rated 6 A. The housing is 4.70 x 2.50 x 5.90 in, excluding the MS3102A-18-1P connector, and it operates from -40°F to 180°F.
Before You Order
- Reno A&E makes three power versions: L-ATG-1 (120 VAC), L-ATG-5 (12 VDC, 24 VDC or 24 VAC) and L-ATG-35 (240 VAC). Confirm which one you need.
- Uses a 10-pin MS style harness (Reno A&E 801-4 pinout), not an 11-pin socket.
- Count accuracy depends on loop size and layout. Follow the L-ATG instructions for loop placement.
