Description
The BEA BEAMBOX (10BEAMBOX) is an active infrared motion and presence sensor for off-door uses such as trains, buses, turnstiles, and back-office retail. It has 15 infrared spots in three rows of five, flush mounts up to 8.2 ft high, and runs on 12 to 30 VAC or 12 to 45 VDC.
Nine preset patterns and four infrared immunity modes set the detection area. Typical area is about 3.3 x 3.9 ft at a 6.5 ft mounting height with a 20° tilt (0 to 20° adjustable). Its dry relay contact can switch a buzzer, light, or camera. Black polycarbonate housing, 5.5 x 1.5 x 2.2 in, IP41, 8 ft cable. Operates from -13 to 126 °F.

- Output: dry change-over relay, 42 VAC / 60 VDC max, 1 A resistive, hold time 0.5 to 9 s.
- Has an optocoupled input (10 to 24 VDC).
- IP41 housing; plan for a sheltered location.
