Description
The BEA FOCUS 2 (10FOCUS2) is a compact, recess-mount active infrared presence sensor for tight spots or to add coverage next to existing sensors. Detection range is 0 to 8 ft 2 in, adjustable from 2 to 8 ft. It runs on 24 VAC or VDC.
It measures distance to the target, so it holds presence for as long as someone is in the zone. Response time is under 50 ms. Typical uses are revolving door pinch zones, drive-thru and pass-thru windows, and horizontal mounting on gates and barriers. Works from -30 to 140 °F and connects with a 5-conductor harness.
Before You Order
- Power: 24 VAC or VDC (+10%). Not rated for 12 V. Draws 60 mA on, 30 mA standby.
- Output: relay with NO and NC contacts, 1 A at 30 V resistive.
- Not monitored. BEA's SMART FOCUS is the monitored version.
- Other version: FOCUS (10FOCUS) for surface mounting.
- Recessed install uses BEA template 75.5941.
