Description
The Locinox ELECTRADROP-E-9005 is a motorized electric drop bolt for automated swing gates, in black. It drives a 25/32 in bolt into the ground with a 4-1/2 in throw, so the gate operator does not have to hold the gate in position. The E version is fail closed: the bolt stays locked when power is lost.
It can lock the gate in the open or closed position and mounts vertically or horizontally. The vandal-resistant aluminum housing mounts with Quick-Fix bolts, no welding. Obstacle detection stops the bolt if it hits something, and a built-in relay reports bolt position. A key cylinder gives a manual release in an emergency or power failure. Tested to 500,000 cycles.

Before You Order
- Power: 24 VDC. Consumption 25 W running, 0.2 W standby.
- Wire it to the gate operator's warning light output, with at least a 3-second pre-warning before the gate moves.
- For gate profiles 1-1/2 in and larger.
- Fail closed. For a version with integrated battery backup, choose the ELECTRADROP-R. Versions with bolt position detection: ELECTRADROP-E-P and ELECTRADROP-R-P.
