Description
The Locinox MAG6000-9005 is a bolt-on electromagnetic lock with built-in pull handles for swing gates, in black. It holds with a minimum 1,300 lb (6000 N) of force on 12 or 24 VDC and is fail open: it releases when power is cut. Locinox lists it for square posts and profiles 1-9/16 to 3-1/8 in.
The aluminum housing has a two-layer protective coating for outdoor use and passed 500 hours of salt spray testing (ISO 9227, SGS certified). Holding force is tested on every unit. An anti-residual-magnetism kick-off lets the armature release cleanly, and a raised edge on the magnet housing keeps a pry bar out from between the magnet and armature plate. It mounts with Quick-Fix bolts, with no welding box.
