Description
The Security Brands Ridge 14-RTE433 is a wireless request-to-exit kit that pairs a battery-powered post-mount RTE station with a Ridge Transceiver to open 1 gate or door. The station talks to the transceiver over a 433 MHz two-way link with a range of up to 500 ft, so no trenching is needed. The model number was previously S-RTE433.
The station has an IP65-rated push button and a lockout key switch that disables and re-enables the unit. The enclosure is polycarbonate. The Ridge Transceiver accepts 12-24 VAC or VDC, draws less than 7.9 mA at 12 VDC in standby and less than 11.2 mA with the relay latched, and has relay time adjustable from 1 to 999 seconds. Operating temperature is -15 °F to 158 °F.

Before You Order
- The transceiver is not weatherproof. Mount it inside a weatherproof enclosure.
- The transceiver requires 12-24 VAC or VDC from the gate operator or a separate supply.
- Transceiver relay contact rating is 2 A at 30 VDC or 0.5 A at 120 VAC.
- Mount the RTE station on a pedestal or post. Pedestals are sold separately.
