Description
The Security Brands 56-TC38 is a 3.8 A smart trickle charger for 12 V batteries, such as gate operator backup batteries. It plugs into 110-120 or 220-240 VAC and charges at up to 14.7 VDC and 3.8 A, then holds the battery at full charge without overcharging.
A microprocessor controls charging and protects against overcharge, short circuit and overheating. An LCD and LED lights show status. The case is IP65-rated polycarbonate and measures 7.18 in L x 2.71 in W x 1.84 in H. Operating temperature is 32 °F to 104 °F. Security Brands backs it with a two-year limited warranty.
