Description
The Security Brands RemotePro KP 12-000 is a post-mount keypad with 26-bit Wiegand output. It adds a keypad entry point to an Ascent, Edge, or other 26-bit Wiegand access controller at a gate or door. It runs on 9-12 VDC from the controller.
The keypad is backlit and gives audible-tone and LED feedback. Programming is done at the keypad with a master code: facility code (000-255), access code length (4 or 5 digits), LED settings, and timeouts. Two-year limited warranty. The unit measures 5.22 in H x 5.22 in W x 5.10 in D and is rated for -15 to 175 °F.

- Needs a 26-bit Wiegand controller: Security Brands Ascent (select models), Edge, or other 26-bit Wiegand controllers. The keypad sends codes to the controller; the controller runs the gate or door.
- Power: 9-12 VDC supplied by the Wiegand controller. Six-wire connection to the controller.
- Mounts to a pedestal with the included carriage bolts. Pedestal sold separately.
- Siblings: 12-000 post mount, 12-000I post mount with intercom, 12-000SGL single gang. Card reader versions: RemotePro CR 23-006 (HID) and 23-100 (SecurePass) families.
