DoorKing 1520 and 1524 Card Readers Manuals & Support

The DoorKing 1520 and 1524 are stand-alone card readers for one door or gate. Memory holds 1,000 cards, and the relay output runs an electric strike or magnetic lock.

A free exit input takes an exit button, and a 26-bit Wiegand input adds a second reader. Programming uses control cards or an IR remote, and a 12 VDC supply is included.

Identify your model

The 1524-331 is the card reader only. The 1524-080 adds a lighted enclosure. The 1520 is the single door controller version.
