Troubleshooting

Enter programming with # 9 # and the 6-digit master code. The keypad leaves programming after two minutes with no key press.

Yellow LED on and codes refused

  • The keypad is in lockout from too many wrong codes. Wait for the lockout time to pass.

Lost master code

  • Open the case and remove jumper JP2 with power on. The keypad beeps and the master code returns to the factory code. Replace the jumper and set a new code.

Clear all codes

  • A master reset erases all codes and settings. Remove power, hold the two reset keys shown in the manual, then apply power until the red LED flashes.

Common questions

Remove jumper JP2 inside the case with power on to reset the master code to the factory default, then program a new one.

Yes. Codes and settings are kept in EEPROM memory without power.

Mount any keypad or entry system at least 6 ft from a gate or gate operator, or where the user cannot reach the gate while using it.
