Troubleshooting

Operator will not power on

  • Check that power to the board is on and look for loose or broken wires.
  • Check the fuses. The 1050 runs on 10 to 32 VDC only; never connect AC power to the board.

Gate opens a short distance, then stops and reverses

  • Check the UL/Edge input and the monitored sensors.
  • Adjust the force settings.

Gate opens but will not close

  • Any lit input LED holds the gate open. Check keying devices, safety devices and loop detectors.

Hard shutdown

  • Two back-to-back obstructions make the LED blink and the buzzer sound for 5 minutes. Clear the gate path and press RESET.

No battery backup operation

  • Check whether backup is set to open automatically or waits for an input. Check battery voltage and replace weak batteries.

Common questions

For UL 325 7th Edition, at least one monitored external entrapment sensor for swing operators and two for slide operators. Nice BlueBUS photo eyes connect with two wires.

Nice Era One and Inti rolling-code remotes through the OXI receiver. The 1050 board supports up to 1,000 remotes.

No. A 12 V battery is required and can be charged by solar or AC.
