Description
The DAC 6045-B48 is a Superior panic bar kit for a pedestrian gate, with lock box. It includes a 48 in Detex Value Series exit bar (DAC 6004), a 24 in black mounting plate and an adjustable receiver bracket for a 3 in O.D. latch post. The plate adjusts for a 31 in to 52 in gate frame and fits square or round frames.
The Detex Value Series bar is reversible, with a dead latch and hex key dogging. It is weather resistant. DAC lists the bar as ANSI/BHMA 156.3 Grade 1. The lock box mounts on the plate, and the plate comes pre-drilled for the exit bar and lock box. A key cylinder with 2 keys lets you open the gate from outside. The plate and bracket fasten with stainless steel Tek-screws.

Before You Order
- Gate frame: the plate adjusts for a 31 in to 52 in frame, square or round.
- Latch post: the receiver bracket is set for a 3 in O.D. post. Standard hardware is 3 in round on silver kits and 3 in round and 3 in square on black kits. 2 in, 2-1/2 in or 4 in round or square U-bolts are available on request; add an order note with your post size.
- Handing: the bar is reversible for left or right hand gates.
- DAC kit levels: Standard kits (6030, 6035, 6037, 10035) are exit only with no lock box. Deluxe (6040), Superior (6045, 6047) and Premium (10045) kits add a lock box with key cylinder for entry from outside. 6030/6040 use the DAC 6000 economy bar, 6035/6045 the Detex Value Series bar, 6037/6047 the Value Series bar with alarm, and 10035/10045 the Detex Advantex stainless steel bar.
- This kit includes a keyed lock box for entry from outside. For exit only with no lock box, see the 6035 Standard kit.
- Also available with a silver plate and with a 36 in bar.
- A 12 in tall mounting plate is available on request. Related DAC parts sold separately: 6017 push pad protector, 6015 gate latch protector.

Our return policy lasts for only 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. Some items such as Gate Operators or custom parts may not be returnable or carry a restocking fee if returned.
