Description
DITEK DTK-4LVLPCR is a surge protector for card readers. It protects power, data and LED circuits in one unit with a single ground point.
Power: 12 or 24 VDC (clamping 22 V / 39 V). Data: 5 VDC (clamping 8 V). LED: under 5 VDC (clamping 7 V). Series connection with parallel function, so it adds no resistance to the circuit. Screw terminals for 30 to 12 AWG. Rated 5,000 A surge current and 5 A continuous. Differential and common mode protection. UL 497B. ABS housing, 3.3 x 1.55 x 1.1 in. Operating temperature -40 to 158 °F. 10-year limited warranty.
Before You Order
- Series wired: field wiring to IN, equipment to OUT. Keep at least 3 ft of wire between OUT and the equipment.
- Ground with 14 AWG or larger wire to a ground of 25 ohms or less (5 ohms or less is best).
- Protects 3 or 4 pairs, depending on the reader wiring.
