Description
The HySecurity AC Power Supply with HyInverter AC is a battery backup cabinet for AC-powered gate operators. Input is 208/230 VAC single phase, 50/60 Hz, switch selectable. Output is 230 V 60 Hz or 220 V 50 Hz pure sine wave, 3,000 VA continuous with a 6,000 VA surge for 10 seconds. Four 12 VDC 110 Ah AGM batteries give 5,200 Wh of storage. The NEMA 3R cabinet mounts on a concrete pad, wall or posts, or indoors.
Transfer to battery happens within 1/2 AC cycle. A smart charger conditions the batteries and recharges in 6 hours minimum, or 12 hours for high-cycle sites. A heater and fan hold cabinet temperature for battery life. A dry contact AC loss output (50 mA, 0-36 VDC) signals power failure to the operator, and Modbus RTU over RS-485 links to the operator. Operating temperature is -40°F to 122°F. ETL listed to UL 325 and UL 1778.

- Rated for operators up to 1 hp, or up to 2 hp on HySecurity operators with a VFD controller. VFD models up to 2 hp can use it as a true UPS.
- Programs from a Smart Touch Controller or SmartTouch 720/725.
- For other brands, compare the operator's power needs to the HyInverter ratings. HySecurity does not warrant it for other manufacturers' equipment.
- Needs a field-supplied 20 A breaker. Posts, U-bolts, Unistrut and wall hardware are not supplied.
- Weight is about 520 lb with batteries. Plan for a crane or hoist.
- Warranty: 2 years on system and electronics, 1 year on batteries.

Our return policy lasts for only 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. Some items such as Gate Operators or custom parts may not be returnable or carry a restocking fee if returned.
