Description
Discontinued by Linear. Linear does not name a direct replacement. The AM-RPR is a remote proximity receiver for Linear AM3Plus, AE1000Plus and AE2000Plus access control systems. It is a short-range MegaCode radio receiver that mounts beside a door or gate and connects to the controller's PBUS.
The transmitter must be activated within about 3 in of the faceplate. That short range lets you put one at each door without the wrong receiver picking up the signal. A two-color LED shows red when powered and green when access is granted. A rotary switch sets the PBUS address.
