Description
The Linear EXA-1000 is an omni-directional remote antenna for Linear receivers with a Type F antenna connector. It lets the antenna sit higher or away from the receiver when the receiver is in a poor reception spot. Linear states a typical range increase of 20 to 30%. It receives in the 288 to 320 MHz range.
The EXA-1000 is a 1/2 wave, center-fed vertical antenna. It comes as an antenna assembly with an F connector, a base plate with radials, and a 5 ft, 75 ohm coax cable. A 2 in U-bolt mounts it to a post or pipe. The U-bolt holes in the base plate also let you screw it to a wall or wood brace.

Before You Order
- Requires a Linear receiver with a Type F antenna connector.
- Cable runs over 5 ft need an extension cable. Keep the total run at 25 ft or less; longer cable reduces performance.
- Mount it as high as practical. Height above ground improves range.
