Description
The Locinox S-MAG-SILV is an integrated electromagnetic lock for sliding gates, in silver. The magnet fits into the post and the armature plate into the gate profile, so the lock sits flush with the gate line. It holds with 2,500 N of force on 12 or 24 VDC and is fail open: it releases when power is cut.
Rubber bumpers keep the gate from rattling and protect it from harsh handling, and the flexibly mounted armature plate closes normally even when the gate isn't perfectly aligned. The housing is IP68 rated, has a two-layer protective coating for outdoor use and passed 500 hours of salt spray testing (ISO 9227, SGS certified). Holding force is tested on every unit, and an anti-residual-magnetism kick-off lets the gate release cleanly.

Before You Order
- For sliding gates with flat or square profiles; post must be at least 2-3/8 in (60 mm) wide.
- Requires cutouts in the post and gate profile; see the installation manual for templates.
- Power: 12 VDC (460 mA) or 24 VDC (230 mA). DC only.
- Fail open: unlocked without power.
- Power supply and access control are sold separately.
