Nylon Gate Roller for 2" Square Pipe with Sealed Bearing for Sliding Gates with Cover
This gate roller is very similar in design to the Master Halco Loadmaster Roller. The main differences being it has a heavy duty galvanized steel bracket instead of cast aluminum and it includes a cover with each roller. The rollers mount to 4" square vertical posts(available for 3" and 4" round posts) and are designed for use with gates constructed out of 2" square steel pipe.
� 2 3/8� precision machined glass impregnated nylon roller is UV stabilized and the precision low friction surface helps extend the life of the gate coating. The high density of the nylon roller allows gates to roll with minimum effort. A perfect match for automated gates to extend the life expectancy of expensive gate operators.
� for 4� square posts are standard, 3" and 4" round post available. The heavy duty design is made from 5/16� (8mm) thick galvanized steel rather than cast aluminum for long term performance. Rather than a single vertical gusset we use a 3 way gusset for superior strength. The axle housing is 1/2� thick and penetrates the base. U bolts, nuts, washers included. The 1/2" set screw includes a locking nut.
Axle � 1-1/18� machined steel axle is galvanized for long life. Stainless steel snap rings on both sides securely retain the wheel. Machined set screw section in the axle allows for fine tuned roller alignment.
Bearings � two 62/28 RS - rubber sealed bearings are pressed into both sides of the roller.
Nylon Dust Covers � protect the bearings on each side of the wheel.
� UV stabilized black plastic covers, vented to allow moisture to drain. Unlike others we automatically provide one with every wheel to help insure that your installers always have them when they need them.
Cover Guards - Heavy 1/4" (6.3mm) steel strike plates protects the roller covers during opening or closing. This is especially important on manually operated gates. Since the gate rolls so freely the weight of a heavy gate hitting the stop is transferred to the post rather than the cover or roller. Two are included in every order of 4 gate rollers at no additional charge.
