Description
TransCore AA3100 is a 915 MHz Yagi antenna (902 to 928 MHz) that sends and receives the RF signal for an RFID reader with an external antenna port. Gain is 12 dBi, and it mounts for vertical or horizontal polarization.
The broadcast pattern is close to symmetrical in the horizontal and vertical planes, giving a three-dimensional read zone of similar shape both ways. VSWR is 1.5:1 max (1.33:1 typical), impedance is 50 ohms, and front-to-back ratio is over 20 dB. The elements are gold-anodized aluminum with stainless steel hardware, and the balun, coax feed and connectors are foam-potted. Size is 7 x 23 in and weight is 3.3 lb.

- The connector is a Type N socket. TransCore does not specify the antenna cable; match the coax and connectors to your reader.
- The cast mounting fits a round support up to 2.4 in (6 cm) outside diameter.
