Description
Discontinued by EMX. The EMX LRS (Loop Replacement System) is the updated version. This listing was the CarSense 303 (CS-303) set: control unit plus one in-ground sensor. The CarSense 303 used 3-axis magnetoresistive sensing to detect a vehicle by its effect on the earth's magnetic field, with no saw-cut loop. It could detect a vehicle stopped over the sensor (presence) and had EMX DETECT-ON-STOP, which only detects once a vehicle has stopped for about 1 second.
CS-303 facts for reference: control unit power 12 to 30 VDC or 24 VAC, 40 mA max. Output was an SPDT relay rated 1 A at 24 VDC to 120 VAC plus an NPN open collector output. Detection range about 5 ft from the sensor. Sensitivity had 10 levels. Sensors came as Direct Burial or Flat Pack with 50 ft or 100 ft leads and an IP69K rating.
