DoorKing 1506 and 1504 Keypads Manuals & Support

DoorKing 1506

The DoorKing 1506 is a stand alone digital keypad with two relays to control two doors or gates. The 1504 combines the keypad with an intercom sub-station.

It holds four-digit and five-digit entry codes, hold open codes and time zone inputs, and keeps its codes in EEPROM memory through power outages. It can also work as a secondary keypad for DoorKing telephone entry systems.

Identify your model

The 1506 uses the 1506-010 circuit board. Use the manual for board 1506-010 Rev G or higher. The 1503 is the non-lighted model with two access codes. The 1504 adds an intercom sub-station.

Troubleshooting

Check power at terminals 13 and 14 first.

Cannot enter programming

  • Check the master code and enter keys without long pauses.
  • Press * first. A long tone also means the memory is full.

Keypad dead or locked

  • Check power and that the keypad plug is seated.
  • Too many wrong codes lock the keypad. Wait 3 minutes.

Codes do not activate the right relay

  • Press # before a four-digit code. Enter five-digit codes directly.
  • Codes below the divide number run relay 1 and codes above it run relay 2.
  • Check whether a time zone input is locking out the code.
