Identify your model
The StrongArm is a hydraulic barrier operator built as the 14F, 20, 28 and 36, plus the DOT 28. The standard models take arms up to 36 ft, while the DOT version is listed only up to 28 ft and adds a breakaway arm bracket. The StrongArmPark DC is a separate DC barrier with its own parts. Match the voltage on the operator nameplate before you order a motor or pump pack.

Common questions
How do I lower the StrongArm arm without power?
HySecurity's emergency override uses the needle valve. Turn it slowly counterclockwise until the arm lowers smoothly. When the arm is open, close the bypass valve so it does not drift down.
What power circuit does the StrongArm need?
HySecurity specifies a 20A circuit at minimum, protected by a 20A inverse time breaker, with a slow kick (thermal) breaker for AC motors.
How often should the StrongArm be tested?
HySecurity says to test the gate operator monthly.
