Description
The 1K4X is an open/close keyswitch in a NEMA 4X Rosite poly-resin housing for exterior surface mounting. NEMA 4X adds corrosion resistance to the NEMA 4 rating for wet, dusty and icy locations. Turn the key left or right to send an open or close command; it springs back to center when released. It uses a threaded mortise cylinder. The housing measures 5-1/2 in H x 3-5/8 in W x 3-1/2 in D.
Use it outdoors where salt air, washdown or chemicals would corrode a standard housing. Wire the open and close contacts to the operator inputs plus common.
