Description
The 3BFLX is a 3-button Open / Close / Stop control station with a keyed lockout for exterior flush mounting. It has a die-cast, tamperproof faceplate rated NEMA 4. Buttons are momentary. The faceplate measures 6 in H x 4-3/4 in W x 2-7/8 in D, over a 3-3/4 in x 3-3/4 in back box.
Install it flush in an exterior wall or column at a commercial door, gate or barrier position. The keyswitch lets staff lock out the buttons. Wire the open, close and stop contacts to the operator inputs plus common.

Before You Order
- Flush mount only. Cut the wall for the 3-3/4 in x 3-3/4 in back box.
- The mortise cylinder comes keyed random. A Best core version also exists for interchangeable core key systems.
- NEMA 4 is for exterior use. For indoor flush mounting with lockout, see the 3BFL. For no lockout, see the 3BFX.
- Check if your operator needs a normally closed or normally open stop circuit.
- Run 4 conductors for open, close, stop and common, plus the lockout circuit.
