Description
The Security Brands Advantage DK ADV-1000-KNOX is a 1,000-code post-mount keypad with a cutout for a Knox key switch, for gate and door access with fire department entry. It accepts 12-24 VAC or VDC and has two relays to control up to 2 gates or doors, with relay time adjustable from 1 to 999 seconds. It is fully programmable from the keypad.
Codes are four digits. Features include a personal master code, a latch code, a sleep code, "3 strikes, you're out" security, variable relay time, an event input, audible-tone and LED feedback, non-volatile memory and an LED-backlit keypad. The event input can be set for remote inactive, arming circuit or remote open. Security Brands rates current draw at less than 67 mA at 12 VDC and less than 35 mA at 24 VDC with the relay latched and backlight on.
The faceplate is stainless steel with a metal keypad, and the enclosure is powder-coated steel. The keypad measures 5.80 in H x 7.45 in W x 5.25 in D. Operating temperature is -15 °F to 175 °F. Security Brands backs it with a two-year limited warranty.

- Requires 12-24 VAC or VDC power.
- Mount on a pedestal or post. Pedestals are sold separately.
- Relay contact rating is 1 A at 24 VDC or 0.5 A at 120 VAC.
- The Knox key switch is not listed as included. Check your local fire department's Knox requirements.
- Other Advantage DK models: ADV-1000 is the keypad without a cutout, and ADV-1000I adds an intercom.
