Description
The Security Brands SecurePass TR 40-TR1 is a mid-range UHF vehicle tag reader with 26-bit Wiegand output. It reads windshield tags at up to 20 ft (6 m) for hands-free gate entry and controls a single gate through an Ascent, Edge, or other 26-bit Wiegand controller. Input is 12-24 VDC.
The reader reads all types of UHF tags and gives LED and audible-tone feedback. The housing is PC-ABS, rated IP65, and works from -40 to 167 °F. It measures 8.19 in H x 8.19 in W x 2.29 in D, not counting cabling, and has an 18 in pigtail. The post-mount bracket sets the reader angle from 0° to 60° in 10° steps, and the surface-mount bracket swivels left, right, up, and down. It can also be wired as a simple relay trigger on any valid tag read. Two-year limited warranty.

- Surface mounting uses lag or Teks screws, not included.
