Description
Discontinued by EMX. The IRB-MON2 is the updated version. The IRB-MON was a UL 325 monitored thru-beam infrared photoeye for doors, gates and barriers, with a range of up to 115 ft, powered by 6-35 VDC or 12-24 VAC.
The IRB-MON is a Type B1 non-contact sensor in a NEMA 4X housing rated for -40° to 170°F. It has a lens-less design, a potentiometer sensitivity adjustment and a Form C relay (NO, COM, NC). It supports four monitoring interfaces: normally closed, two-wire pulsed (2 frequency), two-wire pulsed (3 frequency) and 10K resistive termination. Each unit measures 2.3 x 2.6 x 3.7 in.
Before You Order
- The IRB-MON2 supports the same four monitoring interfaces, the same 115 ft range and the same 12-24 VAC input. DC input is 6-35 VDC on both.
- The IRB-MON2 housing is larger (3.6 x 2.9 x 2.9 in) with an integrated hood, an IP65 rating and a removable terminal block. Check your mounting holes and hoods when swapping.
- Set the IRB-MON2 to the same monitoring mode the operator was using with the IRB-MON.
