Description
The EMX NIR is a retro-reflective infrared photoeye for commercial overhead doors, gates and parking barriers. It reads off a reflector up to 30 ft away and accepts 12-240 VDC or 24-240 VAC.
One sensor mounts on one side of the opening and the reflector on the other, so only one side needs wiring. Output is a Form C relay (NO, COM, NC) rated 2 A at 24 VDC or 0.6 A at 220 VAC. It has two LED indicators and a sensitivity adjustment. The housing is IP66, comes with a 6 ft lead wire and measures about 2.5 x 1.5 x 0.75 in.

Before You Order
- The NIR is not UL 325 compliant. It will not satisfy a monitored entrapment input on a UL 325 gate operator.
- Power: 12-240 VDC or 24-240 VAC. Current draw is 28 mA standby, 15 mA detected at 12 VDC.
- Range is 30 ft. For up to 50 ft, see the NIR-50. For a UL 325 10K monitored version, see the NIR-50-325.
- Operating temperature: -4° to 140°F.

Our return policy lasts for only 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. Some items such as Gate Operators or custom parts may not be returnable or carry a restocking fee if returned.
