Description
The EMX ULT-PLG is a single-channel plug-in vehicle loop detector from the ULTRALOOP series. It runs on 12 to 24 VDC, draws 15 mA, and plugs into a gate operator board through a 10-pin female connector. Outputs are solid-state (open collector), not relays.
The ULTRAMETER display shows the sensitivity setting needed to detect a vehicle on the loop and shows crosstalk. Sensitivity has 10 settings and there are 4 loop frequencies. Output B can be set for pulse on entry, pulse on exit, loop fault, or same as presence, and an inverted Output B is also provided. Other functions: Detect-On-Stop (output only after the vehicle stops on the loop for 1 to 2 seconds), automatic sensitivity boost, normal (5 minute) or infinite presence, fail-safe or fail-secure, and a frequency count/reset switch. Loop inductance range is 20 to 2000 µH. Size is 3.0 in x 0.9 in x 2.75 in, operating temperature is -40°F to 180°F, and EMX warranty is 2 years. CE compliant.
Before You Order
- Needs a gate operator or controller with a plug-in loop detector port. EMX lists FAAC, All-O-Matic, Chamberlain/Elite, Intelligate, Linear (OSCO), PowerMaster, Rotary Gate Systems, SECOM, Tymetal and Viking Access. Check your operator manual for the port.
- Power is 12 to 24 VDC from the operator. It does not take AC power.
- Does not use the HAR-11 harness or LD-11 socket.
- A loop is required, such as an EMX PR Lite preformed loop or saw-cut loop wire.

Our return policy lasts for only 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. Some items such as Gate Operators or custom parts may not be returnable or carry a restocking fee if returned.
