Identify your model
Three phase HSLG operators run at 208, 230 or 460 V, in 1/2, 3/4 and 1 HP, and use the three phase controller parts. Single phase units are 115, 208 or 230 V and carry a dust cover that three phase units do not. The wiring print on the label inside the cover shows which version you have. Have the model and serial number ready when you order.

Common questions
What maintenance does the three phase HSLG need every six months?
Linear lists a six month check of clutches, belts, chains, limits, brakes, the disconnect, hardware and reversing devices. Clean and lightly oil the drive chain and sprockets at the same time.
How do I adjust the HSLG clutch?
Loosen the jam nut and turn the adjustment nut clockwise one flat (1/6 turn) at a time until the clutch does not slip in normal use. If it still slips when fully adjusted, replace the pads.
How should the brake be set?
The brake disc must run free when the brake is engaged, and the solenoid plunger throw should be between 3/8 in and 1/2 in. A loud buzz from the solenoid means the brake needs adjusting.
