BEA FALCON Motion Sensors Manuals & Support

The BEA FALCON family are microwave motion sensors for industrial doors, vehicle gates and barrier arms. The FALCON mounts 11.5 to 23 ft high, the FALCON XL 6.5 to 11.5 ft and the FALCON WIDE covers wide paths.

They reject pedestrians and parallel traffic to cut unneeded door cycles, run on 12 to 24 VAC or VDC and have an IP65 housing.

Troubleshooting

Door stays closed, LED off

Check power and wiring.

Door opens and closes over and over

Secure the sensor. Set unidirectional mode. Increase the tilt angle and detection filter. Reduce the field.

Door opens for no reason

Rain or vibration: set unidirectional mode and raise the detection filter.
Reflective area: change the antenna angle, raise the filter and reduce the field.
