Description
The 1KXL is a 2-position On / Off keyswitch for exterior surface mounting, used as a lockout control. It has a NEMA 4 tamperproof housing that measures 4-3/8 in H x 4-1/8 in W x 2-5/8 in D. The switch stays in the position you set (maintained), and the key can be removed in either position.
Wire it in series with the operator controls or to a lockout or disable input. Turn it Off to block the push buttons or other inputs. Turn it On to restore normal operation.

- This is a lockout switch. It does not send open or close commands. For keyed open/close, see the 1KX or 1KXS.
- Check how your operator handles a lockout: in series with the control circuit or on a dedicated disable input.
- Randomly keyed. Ask before ordering if you need several keyed alike.

Our return policy lasts for only 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. Some items such as Gate Operators or custom parts may not be returnable or carry a restocking fee if returned.
